Softball at it's best

Happy May! Where did April go? It is an absolutely beautiful day here in Maine today! The sun is shining, a light breeze to dry the clothes on the line and warm temps! Perfect day over all!!!

This past weekend both my daughter Ashley and I danced in our annual recital! It was my first and it was an awesome experience! Ash and her best friend Cate danced together as well! I took part in tap and jazz!

Ok - on to scrapping!!! I found a cute layout idea in a magazine and thought it would be terrific to show off some of the team pictures from softball last year!

I thought that using a circle and placing the pictures inside would allow me to add the Pirates name to the top. As I was cutting the Title, I actually lost the dot to the "i" so I used a baseball brad instead. Thought it came out pretty cute!

On the opposite page I used a simple long red mat to place some larger pictures that I really didn't want to crop. I punched the pirate heads from some Rusty Pickle paper I had picked up for this page! I raised them up on pop dots to add some depth. I tied both pages together with the striped paper.

I have plans for a few more layouts of softball since I have soooo many pictures!

Thanks for popping in today! Visit again soon!
